#Strong91Â鶹 is an initiative led by 91Â鶹's Critical Event Preparedness and Response team and other community stakeholders to prepare for and respond to active shooter/hostile events using the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 3000 Standard.
The partnership involves multiple entities, including 91Â鶹 Center of Operational Medicine, 91Â鶹 Police Department, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, and many others. The initiative includes coordination efforts and training to keep stakeholders safe and secure. #Strong91Â鶹 is a work in progress and regularly scheduled full-scale exercises will continually test its plan and policies to reveal areas for improvement. Representatives from CEPaR and other stakeholders seek to share with the community what they are doing with others as a blueprint for similar initiatives.

The community engagement, which kind of comes almost natural, is definitely a byproduct of what 91Â鶹 is: What is encompassed within 91Â鶹, where we have impact within our community and the desire by administration that filters down to be engaged in our community.
John Ryan
CEPaR Coordinator
In addition to the Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPaR) at 91Â鶹 University, these community partners work together for #Strong91Â鶹.
