Applicants for the 2024-2025 admissions cycle must submit their AMCASAmerican Medical College Application Service applications between May 30, 2025 & August 1, 2025.
Required Qualifications
Georgia Resident
Only Georgia residents will be considered for MCG's Early Decision Program.
MCAT score of 509 or higher
Medical College Admissions Test
GPA of 3.7* or above
*Total GPA's between 3.65 and 3.69 will be rounded to 3.7
All application supplemental documents, which are items required in addition to the
AMCAS application, should be returned one week after receipt of the secondary application
and must be in the application file by  August 15, 2025.
EDP applicants must have taken the MCAT by  June 28, 2025. 
Application Procedures
Early Decision Program applicants are typically notified of their acceptance by the
second week in September, but are guaranteed to be notified of their acceptance no
later than  October 1, 2025.
